Hi,
I can only give you steps in standard (not classic) view.
1. go to messages column. NOt the table inside the colun.
2. vo right once to vertical splitter.
3. interact
4. vo command f5 to bring mouse on it.
5. optional make sure mouse is there with vo f5
6. In lion this did not work but now in ml you can perform a mouse double click
by pressing vo shift space twice quickly.
7. preview column should be gone. Verify by vo right after the vertical
splitter. If there follows a horizontal one you are in business.
