Adium can be found at:

http://www.adiumx.com

It won't look the most accessible right up front, but go into preferences and look at the events tab.

It takes some time to configure it, and that I'll admit is tedious and a bit irritating, but once yu get it set correctly according to your likings, it works excellently.

Chris.

Hey Chris, thanks so much for the list of apps. I installed Trillion
because I thought I had read that it was accessible. I couldn't find
adium in the app store not sure if I spelled it right here, but I did
when I searched for it, as I looked it up first. Did you download
Adium from the app store or just a site? Funny thing I have never used
Growl, and always heard it coming up in previous versions of the
operating system, but never knew what it was. Is Growl something that
is preinstalled or do you have to install it and then I assume you
have to set it to appear in the menu bar because right now it is not
appearing in mine.

Brian, for one thing, have you thought about using Adium, instead of
Trillian? might I ask why you're using Trillian instead?

Second of all, I, too have the Facebook app you referred to. It seems to
come up fine for me.

Now, what I have hoticed however is some of the apps, such as one I have
called RSS menu for example, even though set to come up when I log on, still tend to not get mounted up in the extras section until I manually open them from my dock/apps folder after rebooting. On that note, it's a bit bizarre.
I'm not really totally sure why that's happening, but aside that, I've had
no trouble.

In my extras, i have things like Adium, Skype when it's running, Dropbox,
RSS Menu, Menu Weather, Boxcar, sometimes the native AIM client, which by
the way, yes, is totally! Voiceover friendly before anyone asks, not sure
what else. I think that's about it. All of them however seem to work just
fine over here for what it's worth. Oh, wait a minute. I also have Growl.

Chris.

That is correct, no menu comes up or pops down. I even had trouble
getting Trillion to work. What have you installed on your menu extras
bar that works
