Hey, All newbies welcome here, and there is nothing wrong with needing a bit of hand holding. We all have to start somewhere.
When you interact with the source list, find the iTunes Store, then press option + command + f to take you to the search box, enter how to be blind and hit the return key. bring up the rotor by pressing VO + U, select headings, and you will find a heading for podcasts. You should see it is the first entry under there.
