Neither, Hank. It's just really really quiet.

I know exactly what she's talking about. I guess I usually just load my midi's up in Pro Tools, Route the tracks through to an instrument track, pop an xpand2 plugin insert on insert A of each track, then if I gotta run anything else like E Q, or dynamics etc. I'll pop those on as well, then route the instrument tracks' outputs through a send to a bus, then receive that bus on the input of a stereo auxiliary track. I mainly do it this way as the sound samples that you get with Xpand2 are just! Out! of this world dynamite! I swear you'd literally think it was not a soft synth, but was an actual band!

Beats the h e double hocky stick! out of any sf2 sound font I ever! have heard! It's just too bad we don't have access to the Structured Presets very easily.

Chris.
