Chris, i am really sorry for you, although i am not Apple smiley.
maybe it has something to do with the prosessingspeed the newer models have or 
the more intern memory, but here i am just guessing.
Maybe you could ask someone with a reall touch for this about the who and what, 
but this what i really wrote in the manual that you can find when you arrow to 
the right in mountain lion.
