Hi, The short version is as follows:
1. Go to your Music Library within your Sources Table. 2. Select the song or songs you wish to get the iTunes upgraded version of. 3. Press your Delete key. 4. There should be a checkbox within the "Are You Sure" dialog that asks you whether you want to delete it from iCloud as well. Your answer is "No" so that the checkbox should not be checked. This will leave a reference to the song within the iCloud Library. Now, if you've deleted multiple songs, you may find it difficult to locate all the songs and have them in one place. In this case, I sort the Music according to the iCloud column then begin the download process. 5. Interact with the Music Table. 6. Navigate to to the iCloud status column. 7. Press VO-shift-back slash to sort according to that column. You can either sort it up or down, whatever you prefer. Then if you VO-up or VO-down from the top or bottom, depending on which way you sorted, you will see whether the songs are "Local", "Ineligible", "Download" and/or "Error". In this case, you're looking for the ones that read "Download". 8. Press the Download button in the iCloud status column to begin the download. Now iTunes will download the song from Apple's library of music if they have the specific song. If there was a match within Apple's iTunes library, it will be downloaded and it will now say "Matched AAC Audio File" for the type of media. If Apple cannot find a match, it will simply download the same file that you used to have as the iTunes Match service just keeps a copy of your unmatched media on its servers. That should do it.
