I think she is just frustrated. I have been using itunes in both SL and Lion 
with great success. I am not sure I fully understand the problem, but when 
frustrated it is best to put these things aside until you are in a better frame 
of mind. Retiring a dog is never an easy thing, so put iTunes aside for the 
time.
