Hi Veronica, Well, if I have the restore Windows at startup option checked, I'm now getting speech. Since it's going to remain checked anyway, I figure I might as well now leave it at that setting; it was unchecked before. Unless I cannot re-boot, I close programs before a re-start or shut down.
