Being new to the Mac and all, just what format does Pages support? I mean, are the documents compatible with MS Office or OpenOffice or LibreOffice? Or is Pages yet another proprietary format of documents? I'm curious because I've begun proofreading some RTF documents from Bookshare and I can't see all the formatting to verify while in Text Edit; I'm thinking / hoping Pages might offer me more control. Is that possible?
