I have a similar problem when I reboot, I have to turn my function keys back on to software instead of the default hardware. this is when I use a blue tooth keyboard. I don't think it was a problem with my wired keyboard but when I started using an Apple blue tooth keyboard, this started happening. Anyone else notice this? I would like to write an applescript maybe that can force this back on for me if they won't fix it.
