Hello Everyone.

This may be a long mail so delete if you do not want to read.

>From time to time, we all have trouble with our music in our Itunes Library as
>I had recently.

To cut a story short, I had purchased a lot of music from Itunes using my I
phone 4S due to the fact I was at work and feeling a bit bored with what I was
doing. (Sh) do not tell the boss. I was finding that all my purchased items
were not showing on my I phone 4S so I must have reset my phone half a dozen
times and this kept happening that all my music was not showing.

So today, I was talking to someone who has used the Mac for years with Voice
Over and they were explaining how all his music was in the Cloud. Prior to
that, I had gone in Itunes to the Store tab to view my account information.
Purely by accident, I was checking that my Icloud was on and my Icloud Match
was on too. So I kept arrowing across and I came to a tab called add devices to
my I Cloud and it asked me if I wanted to add my Mac Book Pro which I duly did.
Voice Over informed me that now all my music would be uploaded to the Cloud on
my Mac. I then thought that this would mean I did not have to sync my I phone
4S with Itunes to get my music.

So again I deleted all my content off the phone and set my phone up again.
Whilst I was doing that, a friend of mine said that I should make sure all my
music was uploaded to the Cloud. So he told me to do command J on my Mac as
more columns would be shown where my music table was. I could check and
uncheck the columns and two of the columns were important, I Cloud status and
whether each song was matched or not. Once I had set up my columns, I went to
each track in my music library and next to each track it either said download
or local. If it said Local, then it was in the Cloud. If it said Download
then it meant that I had to press the VO space bar to start the download. If I
then went to the right with VO right arrow, then the Icloud status would say
matched, purchased. So I went down the column with VO down arrow and made sure
all the column was showing purchased, uploaded or matched.

So now I have aperfect library where I do not have to sync my I phone to as I
only sync my podcasts, Apps and books.

Also, you can select all your music table, and do command I, go to the option
tab, and slide your volume up to 100% and so when your music is played it's at
maximum volume.

I do not know if this information is useful to anyone but now I'm hassle free
from worrying about my I phone 4S being filled up too quick. It even downloads
the next trac ready to play when your track is finished.

Best of luck for whoever tries it.

Kawal.
