Hi Scott,

OK, here's another thought of something to try. What happens if you do a search
with Command-F from the "Show all Bookmarks" page? This is the regular Mac OS
X shortcut, which takes you to the search field within your bookmarks. If I
type search terms in for any bookmark, the matches get displayed in table of
bookmarks, which I can just navigate to (e.g., with VO-Right arrow). If I
press the delete key to remove characters from the search, the full range of
table entries for the bookmarks in my selected folder remain in the second
bookmarks table. Does any of this work for you with Safari in Lion to get to
the table of bookmarks?

Cheers,

Esther
