Paul E, I thought I had a computer braille listing. I used to. However, in all my computer changing in the last few years, apparently I lost it. Freedom Scientific used to put it in manuals, but I couldn't find it in the Jaws help.
This week, I used my Mac to read and proofread some braille files. I did that in preparation for needing to do it or in preparation for a new system. I found that I got faster with the Mac doing this as I went along. Having to do that transformation is really not a problem. It took about thirty seconds. The file I was reading was done by a transcriber. So this afternoon, I'll call up a Web braille file and see if it would require the transformation to lower case. I suspect that notetakers like the PacMate and others are doing this transformation when you go from one type of file to the other.
