Oh yes that's a new issue. I discovered it also and a few friends of mine as well. And to be very frank: that issue is much worse then the focus issue before. To read a book like that seems to me impossible. The only way to fix it is to write to accessibil...@apple.com and to show that it is important to fix that. Another issue is still not fixed: tables in text documents. That also doesn't work. Apple seems not to realize that this is a basic functionality. Really annoying.
