Thank you very much!  Well, I have verified the IP address of my windows 
machine, but my mac is unable to connect.  I have a feeling there is something 
I need to setup on the windows side to correct this.  Guess I will need to do 
some research into what exactly to change.  But this does sound like a much 
more economical approach to accomplishing my task. :-)
