Hi. I am getting ready to buy my first Mac, a Mini, and I have a few questions. First, my gift card is with Amazon, and they only have two minis in stock. The first is a minimum configuration with 2 gig and i5 chipset. The second has 4 gig, 2 500 gig drives and an i7 chipset, but it is their server edition. Can I assume the Server OS is pretty much the same as the regular Lion only with the extra features? Voiceover will run the same?
Second, I want to upgrade to a full 8 gig, and the products Amazon links to are all "notebook" memory upgrades. Is this the one I would use? They offer Corsair and Kingston. Guessing the brand really doesn't matter on this? And though they mention no mouse or keyboard they don't say anything about sound. Is there a built-in speaker set with the mini? If not what sort of audio connection and does anyone have a recommendation as to what sound accessories work best with the mini?
