Hey mac users,
I have a question about Portable USB modems.
Does anyone know if they are accessible for the blind? I'm planning to travel
outside the US and have to take my computer in the near future. I plan to
travel to Ecuador and I know that the internet rates are pretty high. I want to
avoid that by getting a USB modem that permits the computer to get satellite
internet and you only pay like $14 a month approximately. I knew this because I
have a friend in Honduras who is currently there for a missionary project and
recommended me to get one since it's cheaper in the long run. Does anyone know
if there are any accessible USB modems that can be configured by the blind and
work with the mac? Are they voice-over friendly? I hope I can go to Ecuador to
visit my family if that does happen.
Any concerns, please contact me.
 Thank you very much.

PS. I did research but there aren't many reviews in terms of accessibility in
terms of USB modems.
I've heard of the Tigo modem which my friend has but I don't know if it works
with the mac and is voice-over friendly.
