Hi, all! I'm still trying to tame the Lion, so have started listening to the tutorial files that were posted. I listened to the file concerning volume control, and on my system, it doesn't behave at all the way it was described in the tutorial. On my system, using ctrl, option, cmd up and down arrows only controls VO volume, just as it did prior to the lion update. It goes to 100 percent for VO, and simply stops. That actually isn't what I wanted to comment on in this message, however. It's just a random observation. The thing I am slightly puzzled about is that my screen saver no longer kicks in after 15 minutes, or if it does, it's no longer announced. Granted, I keep screen brightness at 0 and also have the screen curtain on, but under snow leopard, I would still hear the screen saver being activated if I left the mac unattended for 15 minutes. I've confirmed that all my settings for screen saver are the same as they were prior to the update, and so far as I can tell, nothing has changed. I guess that under the circumstances, it's not a crisis, but I just wonder if anyone else has noticed this or if anyone has ideas regarding why the screensaver isn't activating like it used to. Thanks again, and I hope that everyone is having a great day! Missy
