I beg to differ your opinion on an accessible mud client.
Have you ever tried Atlantis?
Sorry, I don't exactly know where to get it, I was just googling one day and
found it. It is free though, so give it a shot. Admittedly, the window
doesn't automatically read, but big deal, if you vo+left arrow from your
text area once, then vo+end, or if a macbook, fn+vo+right arrow, you'll get
to the most recent thing. Then interact, and you can up and down arrow
without the vo keys and see what has scrolled across the screen. Then when
done, stop interacting, vo+right one time, and boom, you're back in your
text area to type. It's somewhat a pain in the kneck, but, saying it's not
accessible just because of that isn't really fair in my opinion. It's it a
pain? yes. but that doesn't make it inaccessible as much as it just makes it
really a little tedious. It is, however, extremely doable.

I'm not sure I'd ever switch to using my macbook full time. There's no
accessible mud client, and also, there are a few games
for the PC that don't have mac versions.
I still prefer email on the PC too, mostly because I have a lot of
archived folders and am not aware of a way to keep them
synchronized between the mac and PC. I no a lot of people would say to use
imap folders, but to make a long story short, I've
never had any luck with imap, and have always preferred pop3.
So, I don't see myself ever completely parting with my desktop system. I
like having the ability to use whichever operating
system best meets my needs for whatever task I'm trying to accomplish at
the time. For example, while qwitter is still
broken, I need to use the mac to read direct messages on twitter, and it
works great for that.
Also, I haven't found a word processing solution that I'm fully
comfortable with on the mac; nothing beats good old wordpad
on the PC for quick and simple editing; I rarely even venture into MS word
unless it's actually an important document or I
want to check how to spell a word.
Anyway, I just can't imagine ever using a mac exclusively, at least not
yet. Maybe in a few years, that could change, but I
wouldn't count on it.

I use my mac exclusively. I switch it over to windows via bootcamp if I
need to, but I do not have a working PC any longer.
