I'm not sure I'd ever switch to using my macbook full time. There's no accessible mud client, and also, there are a few games for the PC that don't have mac versions. I still prefer email on the PC too, mostly because I have a lot of archived folders and am not aware of a way to keep them synchronized between the mac and PC. I no a lot of people would say to use imap folders, but to make a long story short, I've never had any luck with imap, and have always preferred pop3. So, I don't see myself ever completely parting with my desktop system. I like having the ability to use whichever operating system best meets my needs for whatever task I'm trying to accomplish at the time. For example, while qwitter is still broken, I need to use the mac to read direct messages on twitter, and it works great for that. Also, I haven't found a word processing solution that I'm fully comfortable with on the mac; nothing beats good old wordpad on the PC for quick and simple editing; I rarely even venture into MS word unless it's actually an important document or I want to check how to spell a word. Anyway, I just can't imagine ever using a mac exclusively, at least not yet. Maybe in a few years, that could change, but I wouldn't count on it.
