Hello, Because of powersaving, I turn off the electricity during the night from my computer after closing the screen (going in to standby). Since there is a backupdisk attached to my macbook, it's not properly removed automatically when I close the screen.
I haven't seen any option in the energy section in system preferences so: Is there a script, workflow, procedure to remove the external discs automatically when going in to standby?
