I think it is worthwhile to understand SUID as this is a file  that circumvents 
standard UNIX user protections.  

A SUID file will run as the user that owns the file rather then running as the 
user that started the program running.  There are several programs that need to 
be SUID so that they can have administrative powers on your computer, but  any 
SUID that is not expected  should be tracked down to its origin to make sure 
you do not have a piece of malware on your computer.  Especially if the owner 
of the SUID file is "root" 

I am fairly confident this is just a incorrectly registered file that the 
Macintosh Operating system uses if you enable remote control of your Macintosh 
in the system preferences.  I believe one of the Security updates that has come 
out this year changed permissions on this file.  Are your software updates up 
to date?
