Hello, Before replying, I searched Google using your very excellent question. I am happy to say that, based on my short research, that the answer is "yes"; it is possible to install Windows 7 via Boot Camp using a USB thumb-drive that contains an ISO or disc image of Windows 7.
I suggest that you Google your question before beginning, take copious notes, and go for it. Apparently, this is the method used by new MacBook Air users.
