In the past I used XP with bootcamp and I was very happy with it.
I have a question for you and for anybody who can give an answer:
When bootcamp wants to install whatever version of Windows it supposes
that Windows is located on a cd inside the mac, is there anyway to boot
into Windows from usb flash drive or hard disk instead? Thanks.

Let me say that I am a Jaws user so my experience with fusion is based on
Jaws and not other very popular screen readers for Windows.
The primary reason that I recommend Boot Camp to Fusion is because of the
skill level that is required for one to efficiently navigate between the Mac
OS via VoiceOver and Windows 7 via Jaws. Ad to this the fact that, unless
one has a standard Windows keyboard (not commonly used with notebook
computers), the Jaws Key along with others, in some cases, must be
re-mapped. For many, this requires installing a third-party Windows
application that requires even more knowledge.
Now I know that there are many who will disagree with my conclusion but I
can only judge based on my experience in training beginner-level
VoiceOver/Windows 7/Jaws users.
If one is an intermediate Jaws user with thorough knowledge of how advanced
key-mapping is done and if one has a comprehensive understanding of how
Windows 7 works coupled with a more than basic understanding of VM Ware
Fusion in terms of what it does and how it does it coupled with a
comfortable VoiceOver/Mac OSX framework, then I see no problem recommending
Fusion.
However, it has been my experience that most often, new Mac users who have a
very basic understanding of Jaws attempt to use Fusion thinking it is magic.
It is not, by any means, magic.
One scenario I encounter again and again is one in which someone sets up
Fusion on a Mac for a new Mac user. The trainer provides the general step
on how to access Windows from the Mac. All appears well until the newbie
forgets to turn off VoiceOver or something in Windows requires attention
that is not easily accessed or the newbie forgets to shut down Windows in
the virtual machine, properly.
Generally, I recommend methods that, although not the coolest, will get
someone up and running with confidence in the most stable and consistent
environment.

May I ask what challenges you refer to? I'm curious about this point, as a
fusion user on a 4 GB MacBook Pro. I've occasionally been interested in
Bootcamp, but was always put off by the lack of a fully accessible
installation procedure. FUsion has served me very well, and I view it as
more convenient than Bootcamp would be in any case.
It'd be nice to hear your perspective.

Hello and sorry if anybody regards my message as off topic but I love
using windows on a mac more than on a pc.
I have the macbook white 13inch since February 2009 and I upgraded its
memory to 4GB which is the max and is running Snow Leopard on it. I
bought yesterday an iMAC MC508 as well which came with Apple wireless
keyboard and Apple wireless mouse. I was told to power the keyboard and
mouse and the iMAC is going to find them by itself is that correct? I
am asking that because I don't have a wired Apple keyboard to initiate
command+F5.
Now I am planning to install Windows7 and I think will choose the
ultimate, I will use bootcamp sure but wonder do I install 32 or 64
bits? Do I need sighted help to install Windows7? My question about 32
or 64bits is important for me because I use Braille often, thanks.
