Hi George,

As far as I'm aware, you have the following options:

1.  If your iPod was set up with your iTunes account, then the music should 
transfer from the iPod to the Mac as long as the same itunes Store account is 
used on the Mac.

2.  Use your Windows PC or something like iPod Rip to get the music from the 
iPod Touch to the Mac.  If you use the Windows PC, it would be a two step 
process.  First, get the music off the iPod and onto the PC, then second, 
transfer it from the PC to the Mac.  If you use an app like iPod Rip, the music 
can be transferred directly from the iPod Touch to the Mac then can be imported 
into iTunes.

Once the music is in iTunes, then it can be synced with any iDevices you own, 
iPads, iPhones and iPods.
