Well, just to be sure one thing is clear, you can save your files on to your local hard drive. Now having said that, it would be nice to have the choice where recognition is concerned. Honestly, my biggest complaint about the cloud approach is the time it takes to send the data to the server, recognize and send it back to the machine. But then, my computer is nearly always connected to the internet and I still have K1000 as a backup if necessary. The lack of internet would definitely be a show-stopper for some folks.
