Johnny,

I, recently, made the switch from Windows to a MBP, myself. I love it &
VoiceOver & will never go back. One of the considerations for me was the
availability of bible study software that would work with VoiceOver. I found
Eloquent, formerly MacSword, & have found it to be quite accessible & that I
like it more than the bible program I was using on Windows. In fact, it's
freeware & has quite a collection of bibles, commentaries, dictionaries & other
writings.

As for a data base for your business, another freeware or public domain effort
built on volunteer labor & cooperation is Open Office for the Mac. As the name
implies, it's an "open source" office suite that includes word processing,
spread sheet & a data base. As far as I know, having only used the word
processing component, it's all accessible. So, unless others have other ideas,
there's enough mentioned here to assure that you can make a case for your state
funded purchase.

Blessings,

CJ
