Sorry, I have forgotten some information:
I use a linksys router with a cable connection.
In Belgium, the data-trafic is limited, for my to 15GB/month by default.
I don't know if I can setup that router to log the traffic.
It's also not that accessible.

I know, this should be the best way but then , I have perhaps to buy a new 
router.

Btw, if I should by a new router, are there any important advantages about 
accessibility/features/compatibility with mac products for a airport-router?
Or , perhaps they are much more expensive in comparison with the linksys 
routers and the features they have or miss.
