Dear Denise,

I am totally blind now, so I don't have any use for the quick look button in
mail. According to the Mail Help topic it is used to view images or a slide
show. Well if it is a slide show or image VoiceOver is not going to be able
to read it. It is possible that if the images have captions then VoiceOver may
be able to read them, but I cannot help with that.

If the attachment is a MicroSoft Word file it should end with a .doc file type.
If you click on it with the spacebar it should open in TextEdit and you should
be able to read the file.

I hope this helps.

Sincerely Yours,
robert Nelson
