start AppleScript editor and paste everything into it.

Press the run button in the toolbar or command-R and see if it works.  If it 
works save it.

There is a place in the library where you can put it so the script shows up in 
your contextual (VO-Shift-M) menus.  

Something like "Library/Apple Scripts/Textedit Scripts"  In order for those 
scripts to show up in your menu though there is a preference that needs to be 
checked in the AppleScript editor.
