I've had way to many bad batches of disks from WD but that's my own personal 
experience, your milage may vary.

Your application is a pretty simple one so you should have a lot of luck with 
any number of products.  You'll love having a NAS though, it's very useful and 
a good home project to gain a little hands on experience.
