Hello Al, My company Handy Tech NOrth America has developed a 3 day basic training workshop and a workbook and study guide that can be purchased separately for those who don't have the time or financial resources to do the three day class. We also offer telephone training on the subject at a reasonable rate. Several of our customers purchase the workbook which comes with an audio tutorial and then schedule time to meet with us on the phone to work through some things they are still a bit unclear on.
I know that this list is brimming with extremely talented people who have gotten to where they are by simply diving in and the help that I've seen given on this list is mind glowingly impressive. however, for those who need to come up to speed quickly and function best in a structured learning environment, Perhaps we can be of help. The 3 day workshop is a great option because it a sort of an emersion into the OS while having plenty of support and other participants learning the same stuff with whom to interact. For our out of town participants, we offer shuttle service to and from the training center and we just started using a bed and breakfast a few blocks from our office for lodging and I hear the breakfast is wonderful. The cost of the class isn't cheep, but it does include the shuttle service snacks and beverages during breaks and lunch. Ok, people might go home with more than an understanding of the Mac OS under their belt (LOL). Feel free to call me between 8:00 A.M and 5:00 P.M. Monday-Friday if you would like to explore these options: 651-636-5184 Here is a direct link to the workshop registration form which has all the classes thus far scheduled for 2011 posted: http://www.handytech.us/workshop_reg.html Best regards, Earle Harrison President Handy Tech North America On Jan 9, 2011, at 10:21 AM, Al Puzzuoli wrote: > Hi, > Just wondering what options are out there for those wanting to work with a > trainer to learn the Mac with VO?
