Carolyn, Every little bit of info I can get does help. Erik's commands work fine in my apple mail, as do they in text edit. I'll try your suggestions as well.
I haven't even begun to try dealing with tables in a text document yet. LOL, I'm still struggling with trying to get iTunes to behave the way I want it to behave! Thank you so much for these suggestions. Marlaina On Dec 13, 2010, at 10:03 AM, Carolyn Haas wrote: Hi Marlaina: I'm not Esther, responding, and I know she will. But, I'll share with you that these things work differently depending on which app you're in, and sometimes on the weather.:) When I read Erick's post, I tried his way, then tried Nick's suggestion, Erick's worked then, but does not work in this email. GO figure. Home and end with the FN keys seem to work best in actual text documents. One handy thing I'll often employ with some success is shift-fn-vo-keys, with the arrows. . This command will take you to the top left, and bottom right of many things, as long as you've interacted. So, I often use it in tables, but also in documents. I've mostly used it with left and right arrows, as in home and end. Hope this helps a little.
