Sarah, I've always found that when I use the mobile FB site pasting the url works just fine, but what happens when you try it?
The only issues I had with the mobile site is that when I would cut and paste a url to a specific entry for my Sexy Isra Experience blog, a security check would pop up and ask me to type the words in the box, but wouldn't offer an audio alternative. I once had a sighted person try to fill it in for me, but he couldn't either. The main FB site will also do this to me from time to time but with the audio alternative I always manage it just fine. Otherwise, pasting url works fine. I've found that I can use the share functionality on some sites to post to FB, but when I press this option on a site, it seems to always take me to the main FB site. I use the main FB site all the time so it's not a problem but if you're not comfortable with it, I do not know if this would be an option for you.
