My college still uses blackboard 7.1 and it doesn't use flash at all
anywhere. It's very accessible on the Mac, though as someone pointed out
the discussion forums are slightly tricky.
If they have started requiring flash in newer versions, that will be
very bad news. I absolutely hope that this is incorrect. Where did you
hear that blackboard requires flash?

Last I heard Flash was still a requirement for Blackboard and Adobe
has not enabled accessibility on the Mac platform. So I would assume
it will not work very well with voiceover, depending on which parts
they use Flash to implement.
