Hello Julie,

I am catching up on email so am sure this question has been completely answered
but, just in case it has not, the answer to your question is "yes"; one can not
only play media from one Mac/PC to another using Home Sharing but one can
actually import the media to another Mac/PC also. I have done this several
times. It may not be as straight forward as many would like you to think but
it can be done and once done, it is a proverbial piece of cake.
