So. Last weekend, I updated to 10.6.4. Ever since then, my trackpad will randomly turn on and start moving around the screen rapidly, ignoring anything I try to do. I go into VO utility, disable it, and the process repeats itself again a few minutes later. I can't usually recreate this problem, which is the most frustrating thing. Sometimes just holding down the VO keys seems to bring on the curse.
I tried to repair permissions, with no success. I am now off to go mourn the fact I have ben lazy and not configured my time machine and don't have an earlier back up to return to.
