As an owner of the KNFB reader mobile. This is a bloody good start to what could be a fantastic work and everyday tool for us the VI / blind community
The knfb reader mobile is a great product but it has a 1000 dollar usa price tag, then you need an n82 or n86 / n97 phone to run it on, and then talks or ms Anyone else see how a free app that does OCR and synthasized text reading, would be a great tool to have I'd say start a push to work with the developers of the product to startimplimenting changes and working toward updates and bettering the product. Don't just complain help to mae it better. So, your sick of it, make some recommendations or share constructive feedback with the author. Look I am not overly impressed either, but damn it it is a start and I have had more success with this than any other OCR app I have tried. It is frustrating, but how many times have you used a camera in this manner. Give this gent some credit because he at least has tried to bring something to the iPhone that was not available. Perhaps if he realizes how many people really are interested, that will provide encouragement to improve the application.
