Hi everyone, I've been following the posts on Abbyy Fine reader. Is it like Kurzweil for Mac? Does it operate on the same principles as Kurzweil 1000? WHat I mean by this question is it possible to hook up a USB scanner and use Abbyy Fine Reader to scan a printed document? I need a scanning/reading solution for work. I really like the Intel Reader, but like most technology for the blind/visually impaired, it's way too expensive for my budget. Thank you in advance for all your assistance.
