As far as I know, the deice list on audible is just for reference. You have to use the audible player or Itunes to register the device. The problem is that Itunes doesn't recognize the stream as a device, the Mac recognizes it as an external drive. So, unless there is something I don't know about, i can't see any way to authorize the stream using the mac. However, there's a lot I don't know about most things, that's why I posted here before calling Humanware.
