Hi, If you're using DVD Player, hitting enter actually works. What happens is that the menus automatically come up on the screen, and you can navigate them by using the arrow keys. Of course, you won't get any feedback, but on most DVDs the first option is play. Hitting enter should proceed as usual. As for skipping intros and the like, I'm not sure how to do that though left and right arrow also jumps between chapters.
