Dear All.

This is my first post to this list.

I have acquired a Mack Book Pro which I've only had over a week. I'm
using Voice over and Windows 7 with jaws in a virtual machine using
fusion. I'm telling you all this so as you know my set up.

I have various questions to put to you all so please forgive my long
message.

1. I'd like to know how to map Voice over keys so that I can get the
Mac Book Pro to tell me the date and time as I understand you can do
this (the same principles to jaws). A step by step instruction would be
appreciated.

2. I'd like to set up a password on my Mac Book pro so that all is
confidential.

3. I'm looking for a plugin so that I can use I chat and let all my
messenger contacts to communicate with me as I'd rather not open
messenger as I prefer Voice Over as it's more responsive. Before anyone
says I'm not window bashing as I'd like both to complement each other.
I love my Mac though and I have been converted! I never thought i'd say
this.

I'm surfing the web, and using the mail and Skuype on this machine but
wish to know, firstly, I deleted all my E-mails and am using Imap.
However when logging in into a windows machine here at work, my E-mails
are still there. Any ideas as to what may be causing the problems for
all my E-mails to be shown still please?

I'm having difficulty turning on and off the track pad commander so any
help would be appreciated.

I'd also like to know what people think of using the Garage Band
application for podcasting as I've always used Gold wave so need to have
something easy to do podcasts and so on.

In due course i get the new Iphone so that I have a cool experience with
both.

Any help on all my questions would be appreciated.

Thanks so much.

Kawal.
