Hi,

it all depends on how you set the specs. Actually, allocating 2GB, or even 
1.5GB to the virtual machine and the rest to your Mac runs great, at least on 
the new Macbook Pro I tried out today. If your specs are like that, and it's 
really slow, I'd say you have some problems. That doesn't mean my 512MB virtual 
doesn't run nicely, either. It runs well. However, what I have found even with 
the 1.5GB is that I've had to wait a couple of minutes for everything to settle.

As for Bootcamp, you have to use sighted assistance unless you know the steps 
to take to complete a WIndows installation as second nature. It will be just 
like a regular install of XP, in that your Mac has to shut down. It will just 
install it on a separate partition. That's all. And some drivers, of course.
