Sorry, I didn’t see the second point, but whenever I restart my Neo or lift the lid, I hear VoiceOver telling me I’m in a protected edit field and my keys won’t be echoed. It doesn’t say exactly that, but I’m definitely hearing something whenever I need to enter my passcode.
Sorry all, but I’m new to this macBook, so I’m just reporting what I’m seeing. It’s likely I’m not understanding the questions or I’ve stumbled through changing some settings that I don’t recall making. > On Jun 6, 2026, at 1:04 AM, Krishnakant Mane <[email protected]> wrote: > > Actually just tapping the key 3 times brings up accessibility menu which > includes all options. > This includes voice over amongst other things. > But with command key it exclusively toggles voice over. > My only small complaint has always been that there is no hint like screen > reader talking or at least a drum role like Ubuntu to say that now it’s time > to enter password. > I always have to guess and mostly it’s correct. > Regards. > >> On 6 Jun 2026, at 5:24 AM, Christopher Chaltain <[email protected]> wrote: >> >> On my MacBook Neo triple tapping the Touch ID key does stop and start >> VoiceOver for me.
