I had another app from Abbyy that was a bonus. It is almost
identical in functionality but does not offer as many format choices. It
works! I will stop tinkering for now. Cheers.

But, yes, unless you're really happy going the whole hog with Abbyy, I'd say
Prizmo (or maybe VueScan, if you're happy tinkering) are probably your best
options. Use the trial versions to see how you get on.
