If you don't update soon, you'll run the risk that someone could exploit
the security issues that were fixed in 18.1.1. My understanding is that
organized criminals try to exploit newly disclosed security
vulnerabilities as quickly as they can, taking advantage of the delay
between the release of an update that fixes the vulnerabilities and the
installation of the update by users. The longer you wait before
updating, the more opportunity the criminals have to take advantage of
the uncorrected vulnerability against you.
I always update straight away without even thinking about it, as the
updates usually include security-related bug fixes. In this case, I
haven't encountered any new bugs in 18.1.1.
