Hi ET, I find that Up Next works quite well. It lists your programs in the order that you have been watching them, so the most recently watched will be first in the list. What is the issue you are having.
Remember that navigation is bi-directional. So, to navigate Up Next, you navigate in, or to the right. If you navigate up/down, you will eventually get to your media. Of course is the last item on the list, b/c Apple wants to make you scroll past all the paid stuff first. Once you get to your media, you navigate in, or to the right, to go through your purchased items.
