That is exactly why I didn’t purchase that keyboard for my iPadPro 11 inch M4, but instead went with the Logitech touch combo for a few reasons. 1. It’s less expensive but has the same layout. 2. You can separate the keyboard and iPad on the fly so you don’t have to fold the keyboard backward, to move it out of the way. When you don’t have a need for the keyboard, just pull the two part, and you can just have the iPad in hand. 3. The typing experience on that keyboard is so smooth, you hardly know your even typing. 4. Finally, like I said, same features, Smart Keyboard, same layout, even has the trackpad for those who like that, I turn mine off.
