Hi ET,

Have you tried running first aid with disk utility from either volume? I would 
try this first.

If that fails, (not knowing any other specifics of the situation) if it were 
me, I’d back up both volumes to time machine, boot into recovery mode and then 
perform first aid on the entire drive from there. I don’t have it in front of 
me just at the minute, but you may also be able to see the entire drive in Disk 
Utility from within one of the volumes without needing to go into recovery mode.

I would absolutely make sure you have working backups before you do any of this 
though. :)
