Andrew, while I use the remote on occasion, when I have to use it, I find the best way to use Apple TV is with a Bluetooth keyboard. I really think that’s your best bet. If you have a Bluetooth keyboard around, you might try and parrot and see if you can use it that way. I think he’ll have a much better experience.
